so my last name in means bird in german, so thats what i wanna get on my inner wrist. Not to big nothing flashy somehow. I would like it to be very finely structered, with generally thin lines.I’m thinking of something like ref1 (your wolf tattoo), I really like the style of it.
For the size within the square on my wrist (see photo placement body) (5cm x 5cm). No need to fill out the box, if you think it fits you can also go outside of it, but not too much please haha.
A rough reference for the kind of bird im thinking about is a barn swallow(ref2) the style of this reference is not at all what i’m looking for, just that you get a feeling for the type of bird.
I’d like the bird to be in flight something like ref2. Not to strict how exactly you look at him, but headed somewhere from right to the left (see arrow of placement body)
I’d like the whole bird.
Generally what I wanna start with this tattoo is a beautiful minimalistic crosssection of a landscape on my arm. The bird on the wrist, then (if I get into tattooing haha) maybe some leaves on my forearm leading into a tree on my upperarm into the ground and so on…
But first I wanna start with the bird.
My name means a lot to me, it’s the main reason behind the tattoo.
Over the last year I’ve more and more come to appreciate nature and being outside, thats why if i really get into tattooing, a landscape like described above is the vague end goal.
I want to be able to look at this tattoo and remind myself of who I am, what I have accomplished, that everythings gonna be alright and that the nature of being happy for me is appreciating this process we are all a part of and all the beauty within it.
Looking at your instagram I really came to appreciate your art and I am looking forward to getting my first tattoo with you. I really trust you as an artist so please take ref2 not to serious.
So key points:
-Something the shape of the barnswallow (but black white only)
-flying somewhere in the direction of arrow on my wrist
-Your (absolutely gorgeous) style of minimalistic fine lines, lots of white but also some very fine details.(Not much “surfaces of black”, just like the wolf)
